Dreams are the map of the unconscious mind. When you interpret your dreams with a trained professional, you will know exactly what is worrying you or what is challenging you at any given moment in your life. Knowing this, you will bring these concerns to your conscious mind and be able to work through them quickly. Dreams allow us to be fully conscious of the inner workings of the mind. When you are aware of the things you are dealing with on the unconscious level you will reduce anxiety and stress. When these processes lie hidden from us in the unconscious mind we experience an uneasy feeling, irritability, or a sense of dread. You will be asked to keep a dream journal and jot down several images or the dream in its entirety and bring that with you for your session. Jungian style dream work has been the most effective for my clients. |
